Three Iranian films have been selected to compete in the upcoming Buffalo film festival in the US state of New York.
The Buffalo Dreams Fantastic Film Festival in New York will screen ‘Light Sight’, ‘The Servant’, and ‘Immortality’ in November.
‘Light Sight’ and ‘The Servant’ will be screened in the short animated film category, while ‘Immortality’ will compete in the official section of the festival.
Short animation ‘Light Sight’ by Seyyed Moslem Tabatabai has one character and one setting. “The character tries to escape from the room to get to the light he sees outside,” Tabatabaee said.
Directed by Farnoush Abedi, ‘The Servant’ tells the tale of a giant cockroach who gets tired of his servitude to man.
‘Immortality’ is Fard-Qaderi's first feature film that depicts events happening on a train during a rainy night. It tells the story of six different families on different wagons of the train, gradually unfolding their stories.
